Day in the Country

Gilroy Foundation's 29th Annual Day in the Country

Join us for an evening of  wine tasting with local vintners, a silent auction and a faboulous dinner followed by a live auction.

The signature event of the Gilroy Foundation, this annual fundraiser began in 1988 as a daytime event auctioning off primarily wines procured for that purpose. It was designed to bring awareness of the Gilroy Foundation to the community. Not expecting to make money—just friends—we brought in $25,000! Over the years it has evolved into an evening gala, offering exciting trips, works of art, sports memorabilia and fine wines to our guests. We are grateful to Board members and friends of the Foundation who step up each year to chair the event, each bringing their own special talents and committee help to produce an exciting, eventful and very successful event for the Gilroy Foundation.
Proceeds from the event support the programs of the Gilroy Foundation.

When:
Saturday, October 6, 2018 5:00 PM thru 10:00 PM

Youth Rising 2021

Youth Rising is dedicated to spot-lighting the amazing young leaders within our programs as they work to make a difference within our community. During this event, we invite you to further fuel the work of our young leaders by magnifying their commitment to bringing change with your donation to the Youth Rising cause.

This year, Youth Alliance is thrilled to announce that we have set a $150,000 fundraising goal as we envision the next 25 years of impact. Although we would ideally share this experience with you in person, we will be hosting the event online on June 17th at 6pm. Youth Rising will include an online raffle and an inspirational showcase with live testimonials of youth in our community and the impact YA has had on their lives. In addition, we will have a walkthrough of our newly renovated Restorative Justice Youth Center.

The empowering voices of the youth leaders themselves will be personally thanking you for your commitment to supporting their cause. Your donation to our fundraising campaign looks forward to building out our youth impact centers, awarding scholarships and paid internships to local youth, contributing to the YA van fund, as well as expanding our highly needed youth outreach in Gilroy, Morgan Hill and San Benito County.
