Ribbon-Cutting

Ribbon-Cutting
So you get even more value out of attending the solar ribbon cutting, Simmitri Affordable Roofing & Solar has extended it into a mini-educational event since most building and homeowners are interested in lowering their electric bills and being green.

We have invited a company with solar products ideally suited for Gilroy and especially its agricultural buildings and other properties.  Hanergy Thin Film Power America, a subsidiary of one of the oldest and largest thin film solar companies in the world offers a range of innovative, reliable solar modules and other solar products that lower electric costs. Their products easily blend into new or existing metal and other roofing materials and solve a problem for flat roofs that cannot support the weight of ordinary solar panels.  They will be raffling off a portable solar powered charger for a smart phone, laptop or Ipad!

For practical everyday help, we also invited Energy Watch a non-profit that helps Santa Clara County Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) customers lower their energy use through upgrade programs, rebates, and educational materials.
